Nicene Network Affiliation Agreement
This Affiliation Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between Nicene Network (“Network”) and
the undersigned organization (“Affiliate”), as of the date signed below.
1. Purpose
This Agreement outlines the terms under which churches and nonprofit organizations may affiliate with
the Nicene Network and access its services, resources, and collaborative opportunities.
2. Eligibility
Affiliates must be either:
● A recognized church; or
● A registered nonprofit organization with a mission consistent with the Christian faith; or
● An organization or official representative in need of fiscal sponsorship who has legitimate
potential for being established as their own 501c(3).
3. Doctrinal Foundation
The Affiliate accepts the Nicene Creed as a foundational statement of the historic Christian Church and
agrees not to publicly or actively oppose, undermine, or target the Creed.
4. Code of Conduct
The Affiliate agrees to abide by the Nicene Network’s Code of Conduct (referenced and incorporated
herein). Affiliates must maintain some form of leadership accountability and must not participate in the
concealment or cover-up of abuse or misconduct of any kind (including, but not limited to, physical,
sexual, or financial misconduct).
5. Active Affiliation Requirement
The Affiliate acknowledges and agrees that participation in the services and offerings of the Network is
contingent upon maintaining an active and paid affiliate status with the Network. Continued eligibility for
any current or future services, benefits, or programs is dependent on this active status. If, at any time, the
Affiliate fails to maintain their active and paid affiliation, they will be considered out of compliance and will
be removed from, or deconverted from, any associated services or offerings following appropriate notice.
6. Relationship of the Parties
The Nicene Network vets each Preferred Provider and its offerings. Contracts for services are solely
between the Provider and the Affiliate. The Nicene Network is neither a party to the agreement(s) nor is it
responsible for delivering services or providing customer support.
7. Data Use & Privacy
Nicene Network and its Providers abide by a privacy policy whereby we will never sell Affiliate data.
Public listing is optional and shared only with written consent.
8. Non-Member Status
Affiliates are not employees, members, owners, or governing entities of the Nicene Network. Affiliation
does not confer governance rights. However, individuals affiliated with participating organizations may be
granted access to financial education, training materials, and may be nominated or elected to serve on
Network committees or the board of directors.
9. Expulsion & Reinstatement
The Network reserves the right to remove an Affiliate if:
● They actively oppose or act contrary to the Nicene Creed;
● They violate the Code of Conduct;
● They lack internal accountability;
● They are found complicit in abuse or misconduct;
● They no longer qualify as a church or nonprofit.
A written appeal process will be available for consideration of reinstatement.
10. Amendments & Severability
This Agreement may be updated with written notice. If any provision is deemed invalid or unenforceable,
the remainder will continue in effect.
